Extended Producer Responsibility
What the rules ask of you, and the part we can take off your hands today.
What EPR means
If your company makes, imports or brands electronics or batteries sold in India, the rules hold you responsible for those products after the customer is finished with them. The E-Waste Management Rules and the Battery Waste Management Rules both set targets for how much has to come back and be recycled, and both require you to register and file returns.
Meeting a target means two separate things. Material has to physically come back, and the paperwork has to show it. Most companies find the first part is a logistics problem they would rather not run themselves.
Where we come in
We handle the collection side and give you the records that go with it.
Collection at scale
Scheduled pickups from offices, warehouses and retail sites across Hyderabad and Bengaluru, for one clearout or a rolling arrangement.
Records for every consignment
Item lists, quantities and dates for what leaves your site, in a form you can hand to an auditor or attach to a filing.
Data-bearing equipment
Drives and devices handled separately, with destruction of stored data and a record of what was destroyed.
Onward to processing
Material is sorted and passed to processors, including lithium-ion batteries, which we can take alongside the rest of your electronics.
Where we stop, for now
EPR certificates can only be issued by recyclers registered with the CPCB. We are not registered yet, so we cannot issue certificates against your targets and we will not suggest otherwise.
What we can do today is the collection and the documentation, either alongside your existing registered recycler or ahead of appointing one. If you want to talk about a longer arrangement as our processing capability grows, we would rather start that conversation now.
Talk to us about volume
Tell us roughly what comes back to you and how often, and we will tell you plainly whether we are the right people for it.
